Welcome to IONA Counselling Services

IONA Counselling is run by Joy Russell BA. Dip(Couns.) MBACP(Accred.) and operates from a peaceful countryside location.

I hold a diploma in integrative counselling, and am a member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).

I am able to offer short-term (weeks or months) counselling with a specific goal, and longer-term, more open-ended counselling.

At an initial meeting, we will discuss what you are looking for, and form an agreement about commitment and costs.

Usually, counselling is once a week, for 50 minutes per session.

I work strictly to the BACP code of ethics, receiving regular supervision to ensure safe working practice, and remain committed to my own personal development.
